Dad, dad, dad, dad, dad, dad, dad...

Dad, dad, Dad, dad, Dad, dad, Dad, dad, Dad, dad, Dad, dad, Dad, dad, Dad, dad, Dad, dad, Dad, dad, Dad, dad, Dad, dad, Dad, dad, Dad, dad, Dad, dad, Dad, dad, Dad, dad, Dad, dad, Dad, dad, Dad, dad, Dad, dad, Dad, dad, Dad, dad, Dad, dad, Dad, dad, Dad, dad, Dad, Dad...

54 times.

Pretty sure that's how many times my daughter has said dad in the last 54 seconds.

Its unrelenting. A truly unending slew of requests.

I'm not gonna lie, sometimes I get frustrated cause I'm tired and I just want to watch the game. Or take a break. Or actually have the last sip of my pop instead of share it.

Good news is our heavenly papa ain't like me. The prophet Isaiah says...

"He will not grow tired or weary and his understanding no one can fathom".

Get that? Jesus doesn't get frustrated or tired. Yes he rested on the 7th day but it wasn't because he needed it.

He's God. He doesn't have universe problems. He doesn't have to get in a think tank with the Holy Spirit to trouble shoot humanity problems or solutions to challenges.

He just says it and it happens. Something out of nothing. Everything out of nothing.

Because He is God and that's how he rolls.

So yea, go ahead. Call on him.

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus,
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus...

54 times.

That's all you've got?

Seriously?

Maybe you missed it earlier. He does NOT get tired.

Also, just so you know, Jesus listens to every prayer from every tongue tribe and nation on earth and it doesn't even faze him.

In fact, not only can Jesus listen to every prayer you can muster but the bible says he knows our every thoughts and STILL he does not grow tired or weary.

Again, go ahead and bug him. Cast your burdens on him. Let it out. I promise you He can handle it.

Oh, by the way, you know what my daughter was bugging me for when I wrote this post?

Ice cream. That's it. Kroger birthday cake ice cream. That's what she called me 54 times for. And the crazy thing is, she didn't even feel bad or regret any of it.

You know why? Because I'm dad AND it is on that very premise that Jesus says this in Matthew 7:

7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

9 “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

So, what do you need from your dad today? What's your ice-cream?

What's something you want or need that you feel bad asking Jesus for cause you don't want to keep bugging him? (If you don't feel comfortable sharing something specific, feel free to leave a comment that simply says "dad, dad, dad" as much as you can type. Its cool. He knows what you want/need)

Also, why do you think its hard for us to 'dad dad dad' Jesus like my daughter 'dad dad dad's me?
