Great stories you never told part 3: Prom.

There are very few words that can insight a vast array of emotions like the word P.R.O.M

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to experience the awesomeness [or awfulness] that is PROM cause that's not how we roll in Nigeria.

I have been in the states long enough though to develop a curiousity about this PROM you Americans go ga-ga about.

Yesterdays post was pretty heavy so we're gonna have a little fun today...

I want to hear your prom story.

Was it the best time of your high-school career? Worst? Any funny stories from Prom? What did you wear? Did you get stood up? Take a Limo? Your mom dropped you off? Skip the whole thing? Have pictures?

Any prom queens out there? Any memorable thing happen to you or someone else?

Random zit popped up on your face prom morning?

Go with someone and leave with another? Or like my friend Royce, did you start a band in a garage with all your other star wars nerd friends on prom night?

I know it was a long time for some of you. And I know others are trying to erase that season of your life.

And yes I know the whole idea can be pretty ridiculous, but that's why I think we should all now laugh about it together. You'd be surprised how healthy it is to look back and laugh with and at ourselves.
