Just a kid talking to you about God and life.

My daughter asked if she could guest post on my blog and I said no so she made 'that face' and I said yes.

Now I probably should pay her $5 to wait at least a few years before teaching the (coming) baby 'the face that'll get dad to do anything for you'.

Oh boy.

Anyways, here we go. Actually, one more thing. I should add that she inspired one of my favorite posts on this blog. It's 'the gospel according to washing toilet seats'. Check it out.

10 things my 14 year old daughter wants you to know about God and life.

1. Life is not easy.

2. You can't get everything you want in life.

3. God loves you.

4. Jesus died on the cross for you.

5. God can take a little thing you do and make it into a big thing.

6. You already have a part in Gods story.

7. Your life won't be perfect but God sees Jesus' perfection in you.

8. Don't worry about what others think about you. You don't need to be more beautiful or powerful.

9. You should be thankful for everything you have cause there are some people who don't have what you have.

10. Be glad that you have another day to live because living another day is a miracle from God.

So there it is. Its not revolutionary and you probably just skimmed over most of it like its nothing but imagine how different and radical our lives would be if we actually believed everything on that list.

Might I suggest maybe you should pause and reread the list but this time actually consider the implications?
