If busy and crazy had a baby, it would be the last and next 2 weeks of my life.

I speak 6 times in 2 weeks. I have a cold. And the baby is coming in less than 3 weeks.

I feel like life is going 100m/hr down the expressway while my blog is stuck behind a slow driver in a school zone. Time to get creative.

Thanks to Susan I have an idea I think might just be a win, win for all of us.

A blog takeover by you. Yes you. Here’s the idea:

Step 1:

I’ll suggest a random topic. This is not the same as a posting a 400-500 word blog post. Just a simple thought to spark some dialogue.

(example: So I was reading John 4 about how Jesus broke so many relational barriers with the Samaritan woman. What are some barriers you guys think we place in front of people today?)

Some days though, I'm gonna leave it completely blank. Open forumn. You decide the topic.

Step 2:

You guys respond to my question like you normally do, only difference is you’re also responding to each others comments. Encouraging each other. Praying and challenging each other.

My hope is in your interaction with each other, you provide the content for the blog in your comments.

Does this make sense?

I don’t know.

As I type this, I’m thinking this could be the stupidest idea in the world. Or it could turn out to be absolutely incredible.

I love this blog so much. Not this cyber space. I mean you guys. You (yes even you anonymous) are the blog and I love you.

I don’t want this to die so I'm getting creative, but bottom line is this won’t work without you. If you’re gonna just 'check out' on the blog because Sammy isn’t posting much content then I don’t know. That would be pretty disappointing.

I promise I’ll be back soon with more great stuff (God willing). I’ve always been committed to giving you guys my best. Right now I just need you to please carry some weight for me.

In my opinion, the best part of this blog is the dialogue that takes place between us.

I’ve even had a couple blog "experts" tell me that they are stunned by our community and interaction on this blog. So yea, I’m never gonna bet against you guys. EVER.

As far as I know, this has never been done before so it would be pretty epic if we can pull it off. A blog that grew in spite of the writer taking a step back. Amazing.

Can we do this? How many days can you #OccupyMyBlog?

I'm getting pumped. I think we can do this but it starts with you diving in. I know there are plenty of silent readers who love this blog. Wel, this would be a great time for you to come out of the shadows. I need you to keep this alive.

I’ll still be around to monitor, moderate and engage in some dialogue (with guest posts, old posts & baby pics sprinkled in between) but for a while starting today it’s your blog and I’m just living in it.
