Why you MUST hear the most cliche sermon ever preached
Few weeks ago I preached the most cliche sermon ever.
I think if the entire church had fallen asleep, I wouldn't have been surprised. In fact I'm pretty sure I almost fell asleep reading the text.
I kid.
It wasn't that bad but it was SO cliche.
The topic was cliche.
The text was cliche.
The story was cliche.
And to top it all off, if you've driven by a church parking lot at least once, you knew exactly where I was going with it...
No suspense.
No drama.
No 'oh-my-word-I-never-heard-that-story-before' moments.
But having said all that, its a sermon you MUST hear.
For real, you MUST hear the most cliche sermon ever preached because your life depends on it.
Hear me, your life depends on it.
The 'truth' of this sermon is the only shot we've all got to making it.
I don't care if you've known God for 5 minutes or 5 decades, your spiritual life is DEAD without this truth.
Dead.
Take a listen. Let it soak in. Then please come back and tell me what you think. Love you guys.

What is the most memorable sermon you've ever heard and why?
P:S-This is not about me. Although I wore a pink tie when I preached this sermon [super unusual], I'm pretty cliche also. But if you listen, you'll see that this is so much bigger than me.
P:S:S- There is one 'shccker' at the end of the sermon. A perspective I'm betting most of you have never had before about a story you've heard a billion times.
Post sermon questions:
Have you ever thought of such a familiar story from that perspective before? Do you agree that it changes everything?
What's one thing you want to 'take away' from this sermon?
