Worship team tryouts: Agnostic drummer?

Few weeks ago I was in a conversation with my brother-in-law who is a worship leader about whether its okay if non-Christians are a part of a church's worship band.

Not worship leader... part of the band.

I know of a rather large church with a preacher you really like that didn't have a problem with having a drummer who wasn't a Christian when he joined the band...

I also know of lots of church folks who would rather have a Christian with less musical talent than my dog join the band before they allow a non-Christian up there.

What do you think?

How would you respond if you found out that your worship team drummer was agnostic or an atheist?

I'm gonna share my thoughts in the comments in response to your thoughts. So go ahead... talk to me. Please. Non-Christians on a worship band. What say you?
